There may be additional costs for shipping and for having blood drawn, prepared and packaged. Vets will often draw and prepare blood for a research project at no charge, but please consult your veterinarian about this. |

Individual owners are welcome to request additional testing/analyses be done by Antech, but there may be added costs and possible additional blood or serum may be required. |

Thyroid and related analysis, data entry and evaluation will be done by Hemopet/Antech and W. Jean Dodds, DVM in California. |

DNA marker evaluation/analysis will be done by Dr. Lorna J. Kennedy at the Centre for Integrated Genomic Medical Research at the University of Manchester in the UK in coordination with Dr. Dodds. |

OFA analysis will be done by Antech Labs in New York who will forward the results to OFA for entry in their thyroid database. |

For the USA/Canada: samples for thyroid testing and DNA analysis should be sent to Dr. Dodds at Hemopet. She will serve as coordinator for these submittals, and will interpret the results. |

For Europe/UK/Scandinavia: samples for DNA analysis should be sent directly to Dr. Lorna Kennedy in Manchester, UK. Serum for thyroid testing should be sent to Dr. Dodds in California for analysis and interpretation. |
